French Braid Pile-Up

Hi everybody,

This morning I tried something a little adventurous -- I parted my hair down the center, then divided the two sections in half to make a total of four parted sections (like a pie divided four ways).  I made two upside-down French braids and two regular French braids, then combined all the braid tails into a high ponytail which I wrapped up into a bun.  Here are (quite a few!) pictures of the results.  I think hairstyles with multiple braids always look so fun.  As always, thank you for following my hairstyle blog!  I appreciate everyone's views and comments :-)

Tonner Doll Double Buns Hairstyle

I admit to being a Tonner doll fan~ all the Tyler and Sydney Tonner dolls are so gorgeous!  This week I saw pictures of a Tonner doll "Dancing with Carlos" and loved her hairsyle.  Here are pictures of my version, and then a picture of the original~ thanks for stopping by to look!

Sparkle Updo

Hi everybody,

Today was such a beautiful day, perfect for getting that extra sparkle in the sunshine :-)  For this hairstyle, I made two side lace rope braids, with a slightly off-center part.  My bun is a low ponytail with about five loose rope braids all wrapped up together and held in place with hairclips and bobby pins.

Fun & Fancy Updo

Hi friends, 

My hairstyle for today took a lot of bobby pins and tiny hair clips (hidden underneath all my hair), but it has lasted all day long without being too uncomfortable :-)  I wanted a hairstyle as fun as my new dress~
