Teardrop Part

Hi friends,

Yesterday I tried parting my hair in a new way that I learned from my book, called a Teardrop.  First you section off hair for a hairband braid.  Then you Dutch lace braid the hair directly behind your hairband section, from behind one ear all the way across to your other ear.  When that braid is finished, you braid the hairband section in the opposite direction.  I had accidentally left out a tiny section of hair, so I turned it into an accent piece.

Lace-Up Braid

Hi everybody,

Today was bright and beautiful~ and very windy!  I made a waterfall braid then added the left-out hair into a parallel French braid.  This double braid reminds me of shoe laces~ so, a Lace-Up Braid :-)

I love little French braids!

I love little French braids, like I used in my simple hairstyle for today~ one of my favorite looks when I want to get ready in a hurry but still look like I took my time :-)

English Rose Hairstyle

Hi everybody,

Thanks for stopping by to view my new pictures!  Today I made up my hairstyle as I went along, with two side rope braids braided into an English braid. I made a small rosette with this English braid, then braided the remaining lower section of my hair into another English braid which I put in a low bun.  I love my little hairclips that hold everything in place just right!
