Hi everybody and Happy New Year!
I hope your 2014 is filled with many fun times and good memories. This may be my last post in 2013~ a braided bun that ended up looking rather like a Japanese fan :-) The jewel hairband across the top is held in place with bobby pins, and my bun is secured with more bobby pins and the small jeweled hairclip which looks like the handle of the fan. Thank you so much for stopping by to view my pictures!

Sunshine Waterfall Braided Hairstyle
Another sunny morning in the islands~ I hope your day was beautiful, too!
Today I made a side waterfall braid, and wrapped the end of the braid up into a small flower bun held in place with two little butterfly clips. I put the rest of my hair into a low ponytail, then divided my ponytail hair in half and made two English braids. I wrapped these two braids around each other into this low bun, which is held in place with a big hair clip and bobby pins.

Rainy Day Braided Bun
Hi everybody!
First my Sunny Day Updo, and now a Rainy Day Braided Bun :-)
I casually divided my hair into three sections and made three English braids. To make the braid on the bottom section, I leaned forward so my hair hung upside-down and braided that section up toward the center of my head where the bun would be.
I wrapped one braid into a center bun, then wrapped the second braid around that, and the third braid around that. I kept the ends of my braids poking out like feathers. I thought they balanced well with my long side fringe. Two of the ends were on the same side, so I kept them together as one.
Now for some pictures!

Braided Bow Updo
Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a good Memorial Day week-end with your family and friends. I went to a triple wedding this morning and had a new dress to wear~ that happened to be my favorite color, hot pink :-) I tried to fix my hair in an extra fancy way since today was special, and here are some pictures of how it turned out!

Simple Double Bun Updo
Hey everybody,
I may seem to do this look a lot~ but it's one of my favorites! I love double buns because they are kind of cute, and they also frame your face from the front which is a bonus when you have long hair. It's too easy to have an elaborate view from behind, while the front looks bare and scraped back!
Anyway, my simple double bun look:
