Upside-Down Lace Braid Topknot

Hi everybody,

Today for the first time I tried my hand at an upside-down braid. I wasn't up to an upside-down French braid, but I did manage this lace braid/topknot combo.  I really like how it turned out, especially with my hair fork :-)

My look for today~ Braided Bun

Hello everybody,

Another green, rainy day in the islands~ the flowers I planted a few days ago are alive and growing, thanks to this weather :-)  Today I made a simple braided bun with my favorite Grah-Toe hair fork.  The braids on the sides are Dutch braids~ (Last night I washed my hair and used an extra-large amount of Johnson & Johnson's No More Tears detangling spray, and this morning my hair seemed to be super-soft and tangle-free.)

Bohemian Herringbone Braid Bun

Hello friends,

I really liked the Herringbone Braid Bun that I posted a few weeks ago, and today tried another slightly altered variation.  This time I made three small accent braids at the front of my head directly behind my fringe, and put my hair into a high ponytail.  I poofed my ponytail up a bit with a jaw hair clip, flipped my hair up and over, bent forward so that my ponytail hung upside down in front of me, and braided a loose fishtail braid with bigger sections of hair.  I wound my braid up into a big bun and held it in place with my Grah-Toe Studio hair fork and bobby pins.  The result was this slightly messy Bohemian-style high bun~

Have a beautiful day!

Hi everyone,

Another bright sunny day :-)  I put my hair up with a French braid and my special wooden hair fork.  This look has lasted all day long without coming down!

New antler and dymond wood hair forks!

Hello again everybody,

Two posts in one day!  But I could not wait to share these pictures with you of a special surprise that my sister and I got in the mail this week from our dear friend at Grah-Toe Studio~ a beautifully hand-crafted set of antler hair forks for my sister, and a gorgeous dymond wood 2-prong hair fork for me! I highly recommend that you visit Grah-Toe Studio's Etsy store if you are looking for a perfect set of hair sticks or a hair fork. My hair hasn't moved all day, and it feels totally light~ not heavy at all!
