Waterfall-French Braid Updo

Happy Saturday :-)

Today was a grey, overcast morning~ a perfect time to plant flowers in time for the rain to water them.  Hopefully in a few months I'll have some beautiful garden pictures to share with you.  For today, I have pictures of my waterfall-French braid updo...I love waterfall braids and am so glad Lilith Moon did a video on how to create this complicated-looking hairstyle!

Micronesian Girl~ French Rope and Zig-Zag Dutch Braids

I found a few Micronesian girl pictures that I had not uploaded yet~ one of my young friends found some red hair dye, I think :-)  This is a cute combination hair'do of lace rope braids and a zig-zag Dutch braid~ very fancy!  The flower behind one ear adds a nice island touch...

>2 Minute Hairstyle~ Messy Bun

Hey everybody,

This morning I was running late but still wanted a decent hairstyle.  I put my hair into a smooth ponytail, then made two or three sections and basically wadded them up into a messy bun held in place with three matching clips.  This is a fun and fast hair-do for hectic mornings!

A few pictures taken tonight, some with the flash and a few without...you can see that this style lasted all day long~

French Braid w/ Flower Headband

Hello friends,

I love the way this flower headband matches the top I wore today, so I added a little flower-flare to a basic French braid.  Instead of making a low bun with the length of my braid, I folded it up and under, wrapped the bottom of my braid around a few times, and held it in place with a hairclip.  This look lasted all day long!  The little girls who saw my braid thought my hair was sooo long :-)

 

Purple Hairclip and Double Lace Braids

Hello everybody,

I hope you are having a beautiful day.  Today I fixed my hair in a favorite hairstyle of mine (I have so many of them!)  I made two angled lace braids and put my hair into a low ponytail then a layered bun.  Very easy and quick, even if you have super long hair like mine :-)
