My look for today~ Poofy French braid headband

Hello everybody,

Thank you for looking at my new post!  Just a few pictures to share with you of my look for today~ it turned out more poofy than I wanted, but looks nice from the front.  I guess this hairstyle is good for days when you don't want your hair scraped back :-)

4-Strand Lace Braids Updo

Hello everyone!

I hope you are having a beautiful Sunday.  Today I tried a four-strand lace braid for the first time ever...I made one on each side, then put my hair into a low ponytail.  I tugged on the hair in the center to give myself a slight beehive/bump in the middle, then put my hair into a low braided bun.  I have yet to try a French braided/lace braided 5-strand braid like my Micronesian friends, but maybe soon :-)

My look for today~ Lace Braid and Rose Bun (with wet hair)

Hi everybody,

Today I did something I don't usually do~ I washed my hair this morning rather than at night.  Since my hair did not have much time to air-dry, it was still wet when I fixed it in this simple hairstyle.  First I made a sideways lace braid, and then I put my hair into a low ponytail and made a rose bun (a rope braid wrapped up into a bun).  Pictures :-)

Micronesian Girl~ Multi-Dutch Braids

Hello friends,

One of my little friends had the cutest hairstyle a few days ago.  I love multiple-braid hairstyles~ they are so much fun!  It's a pretty simple way to have a complicated-looking hairstyle.  If you can Dutch braid, you can create this 'do, too :-)

Thank you for looking at our pictures!

When you don't feel like braiding...my look for today

Hi friends,

This morning I was in a hurry to get out the door and start my day, so instead of braiding my hair I put it up in this simple style that took less than 3 minutes.  First I clipped a tiny section near the top to give my hair a nice poofy look.  Then I put my hair into a low ponytail, and pulled the clipped section out a little bit so there was a slight beehive effect to my ponytail when viewed from the side.  I divided my ponytail into two sections and wrapped one section into a bun then wrapped the other section around it to add extra volume to my bun.  Here are some pictures of the finished look:

Thank you for looking!
